Pricing

The price is a function of the drawing, not of demand. The unit price and the caps were fixed when the foundry opened.

The formula

parts  = gates × 0.0000234 BNB
fees   = 0.0001 (protocol) + 0.0002 (tapeout)
total  = parts + fees

Gas is separate and goes to the chain. Nothing in the formula depends on how many cards have sold, who is buying, or when.

What the price implies at cap

At cap, Series 01 represents 67.55 BNB of parts and 1.04 BNB of protocol and tapeout fees, spread across every buyer rather than paid to one place at once.

Comparisons that work

ComparisonRatioWhy it holds
MUL12 vs SHIFT453×2,118 gates vs 40 gates, same unit price
MUL12 vs ADD446×Same reason, both verifiable on chain
Any Series 01 card vs any othergate ratioOne unit price for the whole series

What cannot change

A later series on a new foundry can choose a different unit price. This one cannot be repriced, by us or by the protocol.

Reading it on chain: mintPrice() on the parts contract returns 23,400,000,000,000 wei per gate. protocolFee() returns 0.0001 BNB. The tapeout fee is enforced by the processor at 0.0002 BNB.
